He and Judy are also the Playwrights-in-Residence at the historic Queen Street Playhouse, home of the Footlight Players.
It was there that they premiered “Perfectly Normel People” (sic), which smashed attendance records at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.
It then went on to win the TheaterMania Audience Favorite Award at the New York International Fringe Festival.
Their play “Re-Wire” starring Stephen Wallem (Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie”) and Geneva Carr (CBS TV’s “Bull”) is being positioned for a future Off-Broadway run.
In his spare time, Thomas is writing a rock musical with award-winning composer Brad Moranz (multiple Broadway/Off-Broadway credits) that will make its North American debut in 2023.
Thomas hopes his legacy will be the positive impact he has had on his family, students, clients, colleagues, and community. As a songwriter and playwright, he hopes his songs and stories will both entertain and empower the human spirit for years to come.
